Enhancing Safety and Efficiency: Manatee School for the Arts Partners with ReaXium

At Manatee School for the Arts (MSA), excellence in education goes hand in hand with a steadfast commitment to safety and efficiency. With a mission to provide a secure, student-centered environment for its 2,500 students, MSA has always prioritized the well-being of its students. Crucially, their transportation department plays a pivotal role in this mission servicing MSA Middle and High School, as well as HOLA Elementary School, covering a total of 1800 riders with a 25 buses fleet.

A New Era of Student Transportation

Today, we’re excited to announce a transformative partnership between MSA and ReaXium. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in enhancing student transportation services to ensure the utmost safety and efficiency. Why did MSA choose ReaXium? Myron Norwood, the Director of Transportation, explains it in the following video:

Ridership Solution

Central to this partnership is the deployment of ReaXium’s advanced Ridership Solution. This technology is designed not only to bolster the safety of MSA’s students during their commute but also to provide real-time insights into their whereabouts. Parents and school staff alike will have access to precise information, fostering peace of mind and improved coordination.

MyReaXiumApp for Parents

For parents, staying closely connected with their child’s school journey is now more straightforward than ever. The MyReaXiumApp for Parents offers an intuitive interface that empowers parents to track their child’s bus in real time, receive timely notifications, and gain a comprehensive overview of their child’s transportation history. It’s a powerful tool that promotes transparency and builds trust.

GPS Tracking & Telematics

In addition to Ridership and the parent-facing app, MSA is embracing GPS Tracking & Telematics technology. This innovative solution provides invaluable data on bus performance, driver behavior, and route optimization. It represents a substantial stride toward even greater efficiency in MSA’s transportation services.

A Vision Shared

On December 8th, ReaXium’s Chief Marketing Officer, Yolima Carvajal, introduced ReaXium and its suite of solutions to the Transportation Department. This department comprises dedicated drivers, routers, and dispatchers who play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of student transportation.

During this informative session, Myron Norwood, the Director of Transportation, emphasized the objectives of this ambitious project. He highlighted the anticipated improvements that these innovative solutions will bring to the department’s services for their community of transported students.

Looking Ahead

The partnership between MSA and ReaXium is a testament to their shared commitment to innovation, safety, and the well-being of students. As this collaboration unfolds, we can anticipate a transformation in the way MSA approaches student transportation.

Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on this exciting journey to make student transportation safer and more efficient than ever before.
