Boca Raton, FL – August 7, 2025 – ReaXium is proud to announce that the School District of Osceola County has officially adopted the ReaXium School Bus solution, featuring the MyReaXiumApp, to enhance student safety and improve communication between schools and families.
For years, school districts across the country have faced challenges with students boarding the wrong bus, buses running late, and parents left in the dark about their child’s whereabouts. This school year, Osceola County Schools is addressing those concerns head-on with innovative technology designed to provide real-time visibility into school transportation operations.
Through the MyReaXiumApp, parents now receive instant notifications when their child boards or exits the bus. Each student scans an RFID-enabled ID card upon entering and leaving the bus, ensuring accurate, real-time tracking.
“As a parent, my kid is little, but she does have to ride the bus,” said Lily Turner, an Osceola County parent. “It makes me feel better to see the notifications—like, good, my kid got on the bus!”
The system also benefits transportation staff by offering live GPS tracking, student ridership reports, and tools to address special accommodations for younger riders. Osceola County School Transportation Coordinator, Orville Watson, highlighted that even the youngest students are supported with easy-to-use scanning processes.
This rollout is part of a district-wide, full-scale implementation of ReaXium’s transportation solutions, which includes:
- Student Ridership Tracking
- Dual GPS with Diagnostics
- MyReaXiumApp for Parents
- Driver & Fleet Performance Dashboards
- Crisis Management & Reunification Tools
Parents will also benefit from interactive onboarding materials and ongoing live demonstrations provided by ReaXium’s training team to ensure smooth adoption.
“Our goal is to empower school districts with technology that delivers safety, transparency, and operational efficiency,” said Yolima Carvajal, ReaXium’s Chief Marketing Officer. “With Osceola County, we’re building a model for student transportation that prioritizes both safety and peace of mind.”
The MyReaXiumApp is available for free download via the Apple App Store and Google Play.
